Mission Statement
R.E.S.C.U.E. is a regional non-profit organization dedicated to
protecting, preserving, and restoring the environment. R.E.S.C.U.E.'s
purpose, achieved through volunteer activism and education
of the public, is to ensure that future generations
will enjoy the benefits of clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment.

R.E.S.C.U.E. Meeting Draws Concerned Citizens
About 150 concerned residents turned out for R.E.S.C.U.E.'s annual public meeting held on
September 17th in the auditorium at the Forest City High School.

applauded The Home Depot’s leadership for announcing that it will recycle energy-efficient,
compact fluorescent light bulbs for free at all of its nearly 2,000 stores.

six school districts within Wayne/Susquehanna R.E.S.C.U.E. geographical boundaries.
